On September 28, 2018, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia was rocked by a 7.5 magnitude earthquake, followed by a devastating tsunami. This catastrophic chain of events resulted in 2,081 fatalities, 1,309 missing or buried persons, 206,494 displaced people, and 68,451 houses damaged or destroyed.
